Latece Megale Brown smiled and laughed just before a California judge sentenced him to death for the 2003 murder of teenage girl.
Brown, 41, was found guilty of sexually assaulting and suffocating 16-year-old Jaquiese Williams. He then wrapped her body in a comforter, lit Williams on fire and dumped her in an alley, the Los Angeles.
Last Thursday, an L.A. County Superior Court called Williams’ death a “cold, vicious murder” and recited Brown’s other violence offenses during sentencing.
