2 Pac Aunt 'Assata Shakur' Has Become The First Woman On The FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List. -- The aunt of the late rapper Tupac Shakur has become the first woman to be included on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist list. Assata Shakur – also known as Joanne Chesimard – was convicted for the 1973 murder of US policeman Werner Foerster in 1977, but escaped from prison two years later.

Shakur was a member of the Black Liberation Army and shot Foerster in the head after she was pulled over by the state trooper and his partner for having a broken tail light, states New Jersey police. She has now made the FBI's official list of Most Wanted Terrorists, after being on the run for almost 35 years. The reward for Shakur's capture stands at $2 million.

Shakur has been living in Cuba since 1984, reports the Independent, where the FBI believes she has links to international terrorist organisations.

New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes said in a recent news conference: "She continues to flaunt her freedom in the face of this horrific crime."

Shakur's brother was Tupac's stepfather. Tupac was shot and killed in Las Vegas in 1996.

I remember Angela Davis was teaching in Dutchess County back in the early 90tys then she moved to Ca......And I have seen her daughter on TV and magazines.

I remember telling this white guy at my job Angela Davis was speaking about the same things she's teaching these rich white kids in College years ago..................The white man told me one thing. " She could teach all she want to now because she's old and not a threat"............It was insulting that he said that. But somewhat profound.......If you are enlightening and educating your own you are a threat especially if you are young........As a old woman what young blacks are going to listen to her........But they could use the tools to educate their own....There were a 3 year waiting period to register for her classes........She was the top in the world on Economics, Social issues, Liberal and Political Science.............

I think it's awful that once again our country's state of mind is focused on capturing a woman who has been a fugitive for over twenty years. The fact that the law is considering giving the two Russian bombers a pass just goes to show "us" as a people we need to wake up! How does a 20 year old crime take precedence over two men who plotted to murder and injure hundreds of people evade the attention that Miss Shackur is getting. The FBI has their priorities mixed up. I can think of 2million other things they can spend their money on. Shackur's capture certainly is not one of them

@Blazine you might be right....Joanne is in her 60tys now..........There were  some type of talks with the government to enter into the US but it fell through......I think the government thinks she's here.........Because it was rumored years ago she would slip into the country and out.

Judy Clark is still in prison.....And Cathy Boudin did 25 years she turn states evidence and being that her father was a judge she was able to get a 25 year sentence. On the other had Judy Clark didn't take a plea so she's still in prison now serving over 30 years.  It's sad.  They should let this woman go.........But the governor won't give her a pardon..........Joanne she should never come back to this country and listen to the government. I know she miss her family and all. But it's her decision.........

When you are Black and female possessing the mental capacity that she has displayed, you are a problem to the "man". He becomes inferior and afraid to be challenged. As a woman of color and intelligence with beauty to match you become a threat. You are given a power beyond reason and "their" control. That's why they want her behind bars. So she can never grasp hold of what "they" want for themselves. What "they" think they are entitled to. Sick and to think those old fashion idioms still exist with some of "them". Still thinking that their color and masculinity hold any type of clout to Miss Shakur's intellect. I'm still very proud of her and what she represents.Hail to Black Female Power!!!!!!!

They have her looking young in those pictures but she's old and gray now. She's over 60ty.  They don't have any recent pictures.......And it's better for the FBI to show a young woman in the prime of her life.  It peaks interest........An old black woman people would be saying are you serious..

Do her appearance look altered in any of her photos do to her ethnic hair style?.....It's the same dam hair style. But longer.........They are so racist........

She's not a terrorist she rob a brinks trunk.....You can call it a robbery but a terrorist is wrong.........The terrorist laws wasn't even out then.  How will she be charge under those laws...And the crime happen over 34 years ago.........They say the FBI was racist and will lie on blacks. But this is crazy......I'm for the FBI but this is weird.........

I agree that Miss Shakur was intelligent.......But I don't believe that she was a challenge to the white man..........Remember there were two other women that were with her and they were white. One is still in jail and the other is at home...................It had nothing to do with the black woman challenging the white man.  Remember the white man has the power in this country.......And he could destroy us anytime he get ready.......Look at your enforcers which are law enforcement mostly white........I think it was so many things involved.  You had so many organization along with this group and they were spreading around the world.  Remember their first funding started with Frank Sinastra...in hollywood....Angela Davis met with Frank Sinatra and a few other college students for the black panthers...  You had so many organizations involve I can't begin to count.........It was the Socialist.....The womens socialist group.............It was big and spreading. But what made them dangerous was they were educated black and white college students...............Keep in mind it was rich white people funding these organization..........So maybe we should be saying white rich powerllllllll
