50 Cent To Executive Produce Two New Crime-Themed Drama Series For Sony's Crackle!!

Rapper, actor and producer 50 Cent isn't stopping. He has connected with Sony Pictures Television’s streaming network Crackle to executive produce two crime-themed drama series The Oath and RPM reports Variety.

"I am very excited to be partnering with Sony Pictures Television Networks and Crackle. To be able to bring this story to life is something I'm looking forward to and Joe Halpin's personal experience will make this unlike anything that's been seen before" said 50.

This is the kind of unexpected storytelling that our viewers have come to expect and we look forward to breaking new ground with this new original drama,” said Eric Berger, Crackle’s GM and EVP Digital at Sony Pictures Television Networks.

“The Oath” (working title) is a 10-episode drama that centers on a gang that started out with the right intentions but its members are forced to turn on each other after being picked off by the FBI. Written and created by former L.A. County Sheriff’s deputy Joe Halpin, executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television Inc.Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim of Storied Media Group

In addition to "The Oath", 50 Cent will also executive produce an hour-long original drama series “RPM” (working title). Written by Leo Sardarian, the crime drama is set in the working-class streets of Boston’s most corrupt neighborhoods following a used-car salesman who starts moonlighting as a getaway driver for a crime syndicate. "RPM" is produced by Adam RibackNick Phillips and Kelly Wagner
