Beyonce Breaks Her Silence About The Miscarriage and Surrogacy Rumors, Saying 'She Heard The Baby's Heartbeat And The Next Week, Nothing' If you’re anxiously anticipating a real up close and personal look at Beyoncé’s private life on her upcoming HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream, it looks like the doc will deliver.
USA today shared some candid quotes from doc, and the notoriously private star is being more vulnerable than ever before about the hurt and pain recent media scrutiny has caused her and some of the challenges she and husband Jay-Z have had to overcome in recent years.
Those pesky surrogacy rumors that became a national topic of discussion seem to have affected her most. "There's a stupid rumor,” says a visibly shaken Mrs. Carter in the documentary. “The most ridiculous rumor I think I've ever had about me.
It's crazy. To think I would be that vain – I respect mothers and women so much and to be able to experience bringing a child into this world, if you're lucky and fortunate enough to experience that, I would never, ever take that for granted. It's the most powerful thing you can do.
Especially after losing a child, the pain and trauma from that just makes it mean so much more to get an opportunity to bring life into the world. It seems like people should have boundaries.”
As for the miscarriage she suffered before conceiving her 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, Beyoncé says she heard the baby's heartbeat – and the next week, nothing – and goes on to describe how burying herself in her work was the only way to get through it. Having a supportive husband has helped her with that.
"It's every woman's dream to feel this way about someone," says Beyoncé.

Def sounds like a good documentary. I love how Bey is allowing herself to seem so human finally. Not that she was the one hyping herself up as super-woman, that's the media haha, but still dope to see a human side of this lovely young woman.
