I have dedicated my entire life to work to uplift the community and invest into the lives of youth, specifically young men. I am committed even the more to continue to invest into the lives of our youth. To the young men who committed this senseless act, as a man of faith and a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have already forgiven you, but I ask you to turn yourselves in so that you can begin the process of true redemption."
The incident hit close to home for Atlanta City Council member Felicia Moore.
Moore issued this statement: "I am truly shocked and saddened to hear of this senseless and brutal killing of my neighbor and constituent in Council District 9.
