Chris Brown In Car Accident Over The Weekend And Now he's Suing Saying "We Plan On Seeking Criminal Charges" Chris Brown is firing back against the idea that paparazzi had nothing to do with his car accident yesterday ... a rep for the singer tells TMZ he plans to sue the photogs involved.
As TMZ first reported, the paparazzi who were on the scene when Brown crashed Porsche claim they were not involved with the accident and only arrived on scene after the fact.
But Brown is sticking with his side of things ... and his rep tells TMZ, "We plan on seeking criminal charges and holding them civilly liable."
Chris Brown's single car accident yesterday afternoon left his car totaled and the wall he hit shattered in pieces ... but the paparazzi on the scene are calling BS on Chris' story that it was their fault.
Brown's rep released a statement yesterday claiming he was cut off by two photographers and blamed the accident on "aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi."
The photos above show the aftermath of the crash with Chris talking to cops and his car being towed away.
TMZ spoke with Chris Doherty, owner of INF, the photo agency that employed all the photographers on scene. He tells us that he is positive his photogs "had nothing to do with Chris Brown crashing."
Doherty says his photogs arrived AFTER Chris crashed, telling TMZ, "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed ...
He crashed his car and it’s convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements."
