Dj Megatron Killer Pleads Gulty & Is Sentenced To 21Yrs! --Details Inside!!!
Father of three, On air personality & NY City DJ Megatron (born Corey McGriff;) was fatally shot back in 2011 on his way to purchase marijuana in Staten Island Borrough. Megatron was previously employed for both HOT 97 (97.1 FM) as well as BET's 106 & Park.
Previous Police Reports indicate that Corey "DJ Megatron" McGriff was shot down while talking to a friend on his cell phone on his way to buy some weed & a cigar. Police are still investigating the reason behind the shooting, if any. They're also seeking information on three young men who fled the scene.
McGriff; allegedly left his four year old child home alone.
Twenty-two-year-old William Williams; who fatally shot DJ Megatron in the chest back in 2011 has been sentenced to 21 years in prison. If he would of declined the plea bargain & took the case to trial & lost; he could of faced 25 years to life behind bars.
“After careful reflection & thought; my client decided this was in his best interest,” Williams’ lawyer, Mario Gallucci, told NYDN.
