Samuel L. Jackson Rips Ben Carson For Referring To Slaves As Immigrants: "MUTHAF*KKA PLEASE!"

Video After The Jump

Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson is catching major flack for comments he made during a speech on Monday, March 6, when he referred to slaves as "immigrants."

HUD Sec. Dr. Ben Carson referred to people who crossed the Atlantic in the bottom of a slave ship as "immigrants" http://cnn.it/2n1oGsI

"That's what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity," Carson said. "There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land."

Our WTF of the day: Ben Carson said slaves were immigrants who worked harder for less.

Actor Samuel L. Jackson couldn't believe what he had heard. He tore into Carson via his Twitter account.

OK!! Ben Carson....I can't! Immigrants? In the bottom of SLAVE SHIPS??!! MUTHAFUKKA PLEASE!!!," Jackson wrote.

There were a lot more negative reactions. Check out some of them below.

Ben Carson and Betsy DeVos are trying to rewrite American history. I humbly suggest we reeducate them.

Pro tip: this morning do not have a conversation at work with your black friend about how Ben Carson "may be right".

Ben Carson: A neurosurgeon without a brain. Sounds like a character from the Wizard Of Oz.

Let's Inform  and 45 the difference between Immigrats & Slaves.

Immigrants☞Decide to come 2🇺🇸
